Naomi SteinNaomi Stein, TEAMS Leader, has been working for the Lawrence Hall of Science for 14 years. In this time she has done a wide variety of activities, including using theatre as an interpretive tool for science, teaching back-country skills to teens and providing assemblies & hands-on science activities to schools throughout California and Nevada. During her career she has edu-tained over half a million people. In addition to being the TEAMS Leader she is the Assistant Director of the LHS residential summer camps, a senior presenter in the Science Discovery Theatre and Festivals and Assemblies departments and serves on the LHS Equity Committee. She has presented at international conferences about the use of theatre in museums and has been published in several anthologies about that topic as well as the subject of educational equity. She is the co- author of Teens Theatre: Recipes for Success, a handbook for youth leaders used around the world.  Naomi is delighted to work with and for the teens at the Hall! She enjoys coming up with exciting activities for them and is honored to be a trusted adult in their lives. 

 

Tammy JohnsonTammy Johnson is the TEAMS Administrative Assistant and is the newest member of the staff. She manages a lot of the administrative details for the TEAMS program as well as for many other programs at LHS. She feels "really privileged to be part of such a wonderful educational program and is looking forward to working with everyone as a team because that's what it's all about! "
