What does a TEAMS Intern do?

First Saturday of the Month Meetings
Interns are required to take part in monthly career activities:
seminars with scientists
resume workshop
interview workshop
host visiting teens
program projects
TEAMS Newsletter

50 Volunteer Hours
Following successful completion of a training course, Interns are invited to practice their new skills by working alongside UC students in the LHS Discovery Labs.

Stipend Positions
Interns are encouraged to complete applications and interviews for stipend positions that are available through various grants to the program. Throughout the year, positions are available for Interns who would like to assist LHS instructors with their after school classes, weekend birthday parties, and summer camps. Leadership stipends are available for Interns who have demonstrated outstanding performance in several areas of the program, and who want to take on additional responsibilities.

Bus passes are available for those who need assistance.
