About Us
Visitors to the Lawrence Hall of Science are assisted by teens who are skilled in
guiding fun science and technology activities. On a typical weekend, TEAMS interns
help families and children to:
Explore hands-on exhibits
Hold gentle animals
Enjoy Science Theatre
Solve a medical mystery
Surf the Web
Youth 12-18 years old receive educational training and career awareness led by LHS
instructors and UC students. This multi-year program provides:
Career training classes
Volunteer internships
Activities with other teens
Work-based positions
Educational experiences that support pathways to college
