  • Feb 25, 2004. Building Your Own Planetarium, by Jeff Adkins. As part of our ongoing efforts to build a small classroom planetarium at our school, we have opted not to go with a package deal from a single vendor and instead assemble components from different vendors. Along the way we've discovered some interesting gear that might be of interest to some other developers of immersive projection systems for flight simulators, gamers, photographers, and others, so I thought we'd share the current state of our project as a sort of preview, and I'll follow up later this year with a report on the actual installation when it is up and running.
