Wine Country Getaway and Exclusive Lunch and Tour at the Hudson House
Sneak away to a vineyard oasis ideally located between the Napa and Sonoma Valleys with gravel paths that crunch underneath your feet, private gardens where you can enjoy a glass of California’s finest wines, exceptional dining comprised of the region’s best artisanal ingredients, and one of the country’s top spas. You and your significant other will enjoy two nights in a garden cottage at the Carneros Inn, which is nestled among 27 acres of seemingly endless rows of grape vines, bucolic farmland, and scenic apple orchards. As part of your wine tasting journey, we have arranged for a private tour/tasting at Pumpjack and an exclusive lunch and tour for four (or just the two of you) at Beringer’s private Hudson House with Events Manager Hubert Verdeille. Hubert will entertain you with his intimate knowledge about Beringer, the Wine Country, and what hot wines to buy; and he will show you around the Hudson House and the Beringer winery. The Hudson House was built around 1850 and was on the property when the Beringer brothers purchased the land in 1875. It was originally the house of David Hudson, known for his involvement in the Bear Flag Revolt of 1846 in nearby Sonoma, an event that was instrumental in California winning independence from Mexico. Based on availability for Sunday–Thursday. Expires June 2009.
